Iyo ukoresha KinyaAI (ku rubuga cyangwa extension ya Chrome), twakira gusa amagambo wohereje ubwawe kugira ngo asuzumwe. Ibi bivuze amagambo:

• Wandikiye mu rubuga
• Wahisemo (highlight) ku urubuga runaka maze ukemeza ko ushatse kuyasuzuma

Nta bindi dukusanya nka:

• Amateka y’ibyo wasuye kuri murandasi
• Indangamuntu cyangwa amazina yawe
• Amakuru atagaragajwe n’umukoresha ubwe

2. Uko Dukoresha Amakuru Watanze

5. Ishingiro ry’Amategeko n’Uko Tubahiriza Itegeko

KinyaAI yubahiriza:

• Itegeko No. 058/2021 rigenga uburinzi bw’amakuru bwite mu Rwanda
• Itegeko rya GDPR, Ingingo ya 2(2)(c), ryemerera gusesengura amakuru yoherejwe n’umukoresha ubwe, adakeneweho uruhushya rwihariye
• IEEE Ethically Aligned Design na W3C Ethical Web Principles byibanda ku bwisanzure bw’umukoresha n’icyubahiro cye

6. Umutekano w’Amakuru

Itumanaho riri hagati y’urubuga cyangwa extension na server yacu rikoreshwa mu buryo bwizewe, hakoreshejwe uburinzi bwa HTTPS. Nta tracking, cookies, cyangwa ibikoresho by’ubusesenguzi (analytics tools) dukoresha.

Konti z’abakoresha zirinzwe hakoreshejwe uburyo buhamye bwo kubika amagambo y’ibanga no kwinjira mu buryo butekanye.

1. What We Collect

When you use KinyaAI (website or browser extension), we collect only the text you explicitly input or highlight for analysis. This includes:

• Text you type into the input field on our site
• Text you highlight via the browser extension and choose to analyze

We do not collect:

• Your browsing history
• Your personal identity
• Any hidden or background data from other sites

2. How We Use Your Data

Your input is processed solely to detect potential hate speech using a machine learning model. The classification helps users understand whether the text may be harmful or offensive.

All processing is performed under a zero-knowledge architecture:

• Input text is sent securely to our backend via HTTPS.
• It is processed instantly in memory.

3. No Storage, No Sharing

We do not store personal information beyond what is necessary for basic account functionality (e.g., email and password if you sign up). We never sell or share user data with third parties, advertisers, or external platforms.

Your classification history (if saved at all) is only visible to you and can be deleted at any time via your user dashboard.

4. Extension Permissions and Behavior

The KinyaAI Chrome Extension only activates when:

• You manually highlight text
• You click the "Analyze with KinyaAI" button

It does not scan entire pages, run in the background, or access other page content without your explicit action. This behavior complies with the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies.

5. Legal Basis & Compliance

KinyaAI complies with:

• Rwanda’s Law No. 058/2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and Privacy
• General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Article 2(2)(c), which exempts purely local, user-triggered data processing from consent obligations
• IEEE Ethically Aligned Design and W3C Ethical Web Principles, prioritizing user agency, consent, and privacy

6. Security Practices

All communication between your browser and our backend is encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS. No third-party trackers, cookies, or analytics tools are used.

User accounts (if applicable) are protected with hashed passwords and secure login protocols.

As a user, you have the right to:

• Access and review any data we store about your account
• Delete your account or any stored classification history
• Revoke consent or request more information at any time
